Here "Twelfth Night" was first performed in 1602 under Shakespeare's personal direction. The other card has St. Bartholomew's Gateway which marks the entrance to the Church of St. Bartholomew the Great, Smithfield. This, the oldest parish in London, was founded by Rahere in 1123. The third card is dated Friday, 18th March, 1960, and the menu is for a Carnival Dinner.
